Mimi's Big BANG! ....

I can't help but to fall into a fit of laughter every time I watch this video that I shot of Mimi playing with David on vacation... If that makes me a terrible parent, so be it.

Mimi was NOT injured during the taping of this short video... so relax... and laugh... because you know it's funny... especially because it wasn't your kid!

Ok, I just got home from picking Mimi up from my mom.  David broke his ankle, so he can't be bothered with things like chasing a 2 year old around the house... {sheesh, he's lazy...  you know darn well, that if he were deployed, and I broke my ankle, I'd still have to chase these kids around.... life is sooo unfair ;) }

Yeah, well back to the point... I picked Mimi up from my mom, and well, let's just say it was clear that my color-blind husband dressed my baby today... I mean the poor girl already can't grow hair and seriously looks like a little boy sometimes,(I ain't scurred to admit that)  and most of her clothes are hand-me-downs from Lana, the least he could do is try to put a shirt and pair of pants together that kind of match and maybe put a bow in her hair.   But no, instead I she's wearing a teal blue bodysuit thingy with lime green trim and lettering with some blue jeans that have a pink and mauve belt around them.

Her closest contains {TONS} of pink shirts, but NO, we  had to pick a teal and green one?!?!  Really?    Here's a blurry pic of the poor child.  Sorry, I lost my memory stick for my camera, so had to take these pics with my cell... ugh!

Now, on to Lana's outfit.... One of Mimi's shirts that is 2 sizes too small... black shirt with some red and black leopard print ruffles at the bottom paired with some red pants.... doesn't sound too bad unless you can see that those red pants have little tiny puppy dogs all over them...

 I wish I could throw David under the bus for this, but I can't... Lana {{INSISTS}} on dressing herself... but I think we all know who she get her fashion sense from  |

Better late than never. I think.

So, I keep saying I'm gonna start blogging.  I mean, I like to READ blogs, and I like to write... I think... at least I USED to like to write... like a lifetime ago, well, before I had kids and lost my mind.  And I once had a friend ASK me to write an autobiography because, apparently, the mishaps in my single life were so entertaining, that it was worth hearing about again!..

Well, if my life was hilarious before someone let me become the HEAD of an ENTIRE HOUSEHOLD... it's really some funny sh*t now!   I mean, I'm pretty sassy and my husband is quite the playful, prankster type with an extra dose of {stubborn} ... so that makes our kids, um, pretty aggravatingly funny at the worst possible moments...

So, anyhow I am sitting here at work, {I'm a professional multi-tasker}  looking at my desk.... at work I have 6 computer screens to monitor in addition or other duties.... I have been surfing blogs, facebook, and pinterest and catching up on the days gossip with my coworkers and crocheting a snuggly newborn set for my to-be-born neice in between work calls.... and I finally decide to get off my proverbial "booty" and start typing a blog post because...
    1) Clearly, I don't have enough to do at work to keep me busy;)
    2) If I don't do it already, I just won't do it
    3) I have to have somewhere to document all of those awesomely endearing, often hilarious, and
        sometimes aggravating moments with my 9 kids... 5 kids.... no, 4.... yes, 4 kids....  who  can really
        keep track of that many kids... once you pass 3, it's all kind of a blur.

And now it's time for me to go home... but at least I got a start on in it, right?   Hmm, suddenly I have lots to say.... go figure!
